Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test

  1. The students seeking admission to First year Engineering and Technology degree courses in Maharashtra State, it is mandatory to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM Group)
  2. The students seeking admission to First year Pharmacy/ Pharm. D degree course in Maharashtra State, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics and/ or Biology (PCM and/or PCB group).
The student will have choice of appearing any one or both examination. The marks obtained in a particular group will not be transferred to another group.

The syllabus is of Std. XI + XII (State Board text books). The On Line Question Paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with Four options (answers) for each question.

This exam is held once in a year probably in the month of April or May.
